Sketch Writing
Holden began filming short videos and writing sketches in High School. After joining the improv troupe in college he was able to film longer bits with friends, and post them online. Over the years his interest in the medium of sketch comedy has grown, and he hopes to continue to cultivate his passion for joke writing and video production. Improv Comedy
Holden has trained in improv for ten years. He was first introduced to the comedy form in grade school and quickly became obsessed with improvisational theatre. As an acting student at Otterbein University he auditioned for the Mainstage Improv Troupe, and was accepted his freshman year. Throughout his time with the troupe he has been able to develop his improv skills and recognize the importance of improv in other forms of comedy. He has also been a part of the rebuilding and teaching of new troupe members following the events of the covid pandemic, and the introduction of musical improv to the group. Currently Holden takes classes whenever he can at various schools in the city, and loves to attend the Friday night jams at The PIT.
Stand-UP
Holden very recently got involved in stand-up comedy. He has been going up at different open mic events and experimenting with material since his senior year of college. Since graduation he has continued to write material and get spots as often as possible, in order to continue improving his skills. Show dates and location details will be listed here.
